Travel and accommodation

The city of Brno offers a number of accommodation opportunities. The organizing team has reserved a reasonable number of single rooms in the Hotel Continental Brno. The rooms are of category Superior and may be used also as double room. The booking is possible only through organizing team.

Traveling to Brno

The city of Brno is situated between Prague and Vienna. Brno Airport is of limited use (flights from/to London Luton, London Stansted and Eindhoven only). Both Vaclav Havel Airport Prague and Vienna airport provide number of international flights.

Traveling via Vienna

There are bus lines connecting Vienna airport (Austria) and Brno directly. The ticket must be purchased in advance from bus companies (for e-ticket: Studentagency or AMSBus, from “Flughafen Wien” bus station to Brno). In case of need please contact the organizers who are ready to help you with purchasing the ticket.

The other option is the train service. The train to Brno departs from Vienna main train station (“Wien Hbf”, for information on transfer from the airport to train station consult Airport Information Counter).

Traveling via Prague

We recommend to use services of Czech Railways (České dráhy). You may purchase a ticket directly at the airport at the Prague City Tourism desk at Terminal 2 or you can buy it online (, from “Praha letiště/Airport (BUS)” to Brno). The ticket includes Airport Express Bus connection from Airport to main train station and then the train connection from Prague to Brno. In case of need please do not hesitate to contact the organizers who are ready to help you with purchasing the ticket.
